Richard Saul Wurman

Richard Saul Wurman is one of the pioneers in Information Design and Architecture. He coined the term "information architecture" in 1976, created the AccessPress travel guides, founded an early information design consultancy, TheUnderstandingBusiness, in 1988, co-created the TED Conferences, and has written or designed over 20 books. Maria Giudice

Maria Giudice was a key information designer at TheUnderstandingBusiness who left in 1990 to start her own firm consulting on Information Design and Interaction Design projects. Her current company is Hot Studio which specializes in both print and interaction design.
