Richard Saul Wurman is one of the pioneers in Information Design and Architecture. He coined the term "information architecture" in 1976, created the AccessPress travel guides, founded an early information design consultancy, TheUnderstandingBusiness, in 1988, co-created the TED Conferences, and has written or designed over 20 books.
