By far one of my most favorite places, I love visiting N'Awlins. I'm sure it proves I'm rally just a tourist at heart and I know that the French Quarter has long been a caricature of itself, but it is so nice to stroll down a beautiful street on a warm--even muggy--evening with people about all around and sip on a Midori margarita.

The streets in these shots are pretty deserted, but at night, the French Quarter is a bustling place. I've never been here for Mardi Gras and figure I don't really need to since it is crowded and fun enough just about any night of the week already.

Another highlight of the city are the beautiful buildings--especially the wrought iron balconies.
